If there was one man we could call Mr. Cricket amidst the willows, it would be him. Having spent a lot of time playing cricket in Australia, he imbibes that do or die cricketing ethic. Indispensable to the team - batting, bowling, keeping, name it and he has done it for the team. Has even rolled his arm with some off-spin when required. Has immense control over the new ball, his out-swingers are a treat to watch. With the bat he can bat anywhere in the order. Has often taught us the art of building an innings. Has scored hundreds of runs for the team and has been the leading wicket taker this season. Is a great person to seek advice from - the best man to be standing at mid-on/mid-off while you are bowling. He truly is a "veteran all-rounder" as they often refer to him in the Singapore cricketing circuit.
Cracking Willows began as a pipe dream of Rufus Gandhi back in 2009 soon after he moved to Singapore.
